Day 1: Da Lat – Lak Lake
0800: your guise and driver will pick you up from the hotel for staring the tour You will visit the Crazy House with a very eccentric design, a lavish style reminds you of Barcelona with its famous Gaudi buildings. Then we start our first day driving along the mountain paths to head for the countryside to explore the rural life of the farmers who cultivate goods on their lands such as flowers and vegetables farm, coffees plantation.. Continue riding, you will visit local workshops such as mushroom farm, rice wine making, silkworm factory…And visit Elephant falls which is considered as the most beautiful and majestic waterfall in the highlands province of Lam Dong. Then we will stop for lunch and try the different dishes of Vietnamese cuisine. After lunch we can go trekking through the jungle to relax and enjoy the breath-taking nature of the Central Highlands. Then we will hit the road to travel through the jungle to go to Lak Lake. Over-night stay in Lak Lak
Day 2: Lak lake to Buon Me Thuot
Take an early morning walk in the Jun village where M’Nong minority people live to learn more about the daily life of local people and their customs, culture as well. Crossing Lak lake by boat or traveling on the back of elephant (extra charge applies) to get an overview of rural life. Do not forget to bring your camera, make sure you will have some great shots of the sunrise on the lake, or of the local fishermen and lots of other beautiful pictures on the 2nd largest natural lake of Vietnam. Leaving Lak Lake, We could trek to the top of the Elephant Rock mountain to enjoy the panoramic view of the area, and then on our way to Buon Me Thuot city where we could go to the local market to buy food and drinks for a special picnic lunch in the nation park. We will ride following Ho Chi Minh trail to to Draysap waterfall, one of the highlights of Central highlands and the largest in the area.
Then we will come back to Buon Me Thuot to check-in at hotel for over-night stay.
Day 3: Buon Me Thuot – Pleiku
One of the longer stretches today and it just keeps getting better when you ride on the awesome roads with lush jungle and rubber tree/ black pepper plantations. You’ll continue to learn more about the history of Vietnamese people during the French colony and the Civil War, experience the daily life of highlanders and learn how to make rice paper and rice noodle.
Day 4: Pleiku – Kon Tum
Getting out the city, we will head to Sea Lake which is considered as the ‘Eyes of Pleiku’ , used to be a volcanic crater that stopped working a million years ago, a great place to take some good photos for your trip. We’d then continue traveling to Kon Tum where we could visit an old wooden church, orphanages, and especially the Kon Ktu village where you see the Ede hill tribes Rong house and learn their traditions and culture by observing their customs and daily life.
Day 5: Kontum – Kham Duc
Wake up in the early morning to enjoy the air of the mountain town and walk around to visit the local market to see more the daily life of Vietnamese. And try to find some tropical fruits to take away for the trip today. After breakfast, we will ride on a romantic road which is really beautiful landscapes. Then continue traveling on the Ho Chi Minh trail to visit the well-known Phoenix Airport and Charlie hill to know more about the war between the Northern and Southern Governments. You’ll find out more about the different cultures of Ch’ru, Bana, Thai – just some of the 54 different ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands. After reaching Kham Duc, a mountain town on Ho Chi Minh trail .
Day 6: Kham Duc – Hoi An
Another breathtaking ride along the Ho Chi Minh trail awaits us. Leaving Kham Duc for Hoi An after visiting a basket making village, and rice paper making, we’ll move to another small villages to make friends with them and see how they make incense, ceramics, chopsticks. Visit pineapple plantation and enjoy a fresh pineapple. Arrive in Hoi An around 4:00pm.
