Day 1 – Arrival Ho Chi Minh City- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Our driver will meet you on arrival at Tan San Nhat airport and transfer you to your hotel in the exciting district one area. After check in you can relax, explore the area around your hotel or take a walk to the famous Ben Thanh markets & night market.

Day 2 – HCMC – Cu Chi Tunnels – City Tour (B/L)- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

The tunnels of Cu Chi are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi district of Ho Chi Minh City and are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country. The tunnels were used by Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes. Housed in the tunnels were hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous guerilla fighters.

0800h – You will be picked from your hotel and travel out of Ho Chi Minh City to visit the famous Vietcong tunnels at Cu Chi. The incredible system of tunnels, covering nearly 250km, was shelter to over 16,000 communist guerillas during the American war. You will gain an insight into the tenacity of the soldiers and have the opportunity to go inside the tunnels.

Lunch will be in HCMC and after you have enjoyed your meal you begin your guided HCM City tour

You will visit many interesting and famous places including, Ben Thanh Market, War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace,Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Notre Dame Cathedral was built between 1877 and 1883, and the stones used to create it were exported in its entirety from France. The Central Post Office, finished in 1891 is another fine example of French architecture and is Vietnam’s largest post office.

1630h – Return to your hotel and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 3 – HCMC – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B/L)- Overnight in Can Tho

0730h – Check out and transport will pick you up from your hotel and you will leave Ho Chi Minh city and start your scenic journey along the National Highway toward My Tho.

On arrival at My Tho you will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Built in 1849, the Vinh Trang Pagoda is located in a large garden in My Tho City. The pagoda is a blend of Asian and European styles of architecture which together create the beautiful but simple features of the pagoda.

Next you will take a leisurely boat ride on the river and view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages situated on the river bank. Continue on to Tortoise islet where lunch will be served in an orchard garden.

After your delicious lunch, you will take a boat ride to An Khanh and enjoy relaxing on a hand-rowed sampan on the shaded waters while you travel along the natural canals. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea while listening to “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by locals.

Visit a small family business and taste their delicious coconut candy which is a speciality of the region & observe the local life style as you roam through fruit plantations and the surrounding area.

Continue on to Can Tho and check into the hotel and enjoy some free time to visit the bustling Can Tho market.

Day 4 – Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Chau Doc (B/L)- Overnight in Chau Doc

0530h-0600h – Our driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer you by bus to the wharf where you will board a motor boat for a leisurely trip through the tributaries of the lower Mekong to visit Cai Rang floating market.

Cai Rang is one of the 3 biggest floating markets in the delta region and you will see hundreds of boats, packed with local mangoes, bananas, papaya and pineapple as well as many other items for sale.

Then take a ride in the motorboat along small leafy creeks to a village where you can walk around and meet with the friendly locals. For the brave visitors, you can learn how to cross a Monkey bridge which is built by using bamboo and ropes.

1200h – Visit an orchard garden where you will stop for lunch.

After a delicious lunch you will proceed along the scenic canals and calm waters to visit Tra Su Bird Sanctuary before arriving in Chau Doc.

If time permitting on the way to Chau Doc, you may also visit Sam Mountain which is the highest mountain in the Mekong.

1700h – Arrival to Chau Doc (approx) .

Day 5 – Chau Doc – HCMC (B)- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

0700h – Driver will meet you at the hotel and you will start your journey back to HCMC.

1400h – Arrive to HCMC.

Day 6 – HCMC – Da Nang – Hoi An – Walking Tour (B)- Overnight in Hoi An

Enjoy a sleep in or relax until it is time to transfer to the airport.

1000h – Our driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the airport where you can prepare to board your 1200h flight to Da Nang.

1320h – Arrive to Da Nang where our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Hoi An.

1430h – Your English speaking guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on a two hour walking tour of Hoi An Old Town. Famous for its quant mixture of Chinese, Japanese and European architecture, the old town was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999. You will visit, the Japanese bridge built in the 16^th century and famous for being the only covered bridge known to incorporate a Buddhist pagoda, the 200 year old Tan Ky house, museum of trade ceramics and several other historical sites.

You will then have free time to continue exploring the old town or to go shopping for those special items.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7 – Hoi An – Free day (B)- Overnight in Hoi An

Time for a day off to explore the fascinating streets of the old town area or hire a taxi to take you to An Bang Beach where you can enjoy a swim or relax in one of the many cafes.

Day 8 – Hoi An – My Son (B/L)- Overnight in Hoi An

0800h – Your guide will meet you at your hotel and together you will travel 50km from Hoi An to My Son Holy Land by air conditioned vehicle. Along the way you will pass through several small villages before starting on the scenic drive along the valley to My Son.

On arrival at My Son you will proceed to the main area to view the ruins and learn more about the ancient Cham Civilization.

After exploring the fascinating ruins of My Son, your guide will take you to watch a traditional Cham Peoples music concert. Next you travel a short distance by road to meet your boat for the journey back to Hoi An on the Thu Bon River.

On the way back to Hoi An, you will be served a light snack on the boat and stop for a visit at a pottery village and the woodcraft village.

1430h – Arrive back to the ferry station in Hoi An.

Day 9 – Hoi An – Free Day (B)- Overnight in Hoi An

Day 10 – Hoi An – Da Nang – Flight to Nha Trang (B)- Overnight in Nha Trang

1045h – Our driver will arrive to your hotel ready to transfer you to the airport in Da Nang where you can check in for your 1250h flight to Nha Trang.

1355h – Arrive to Nha Trang where you will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel.

After check in you can relax or start exploring the area around your hotel.

Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 11 – Nha Trang Countryside Tour (B/L)- Overnight in Nha Trang

0800h – Your transport and English speaking tour guide will meet you at your hotel and you will begin your day of discovering villages and countryside around Nha Trang.

You will see some of the large lush green rice fields and watch the locals and water buffalo going about their daily life.

Next is a visit to an old Vietnamese home built in the 19^th century where you will enjoy some of the local fruits and Lotus Tea. Then it will be time to move onto a traditional Village where you will see sedge mat weaving and the making of pottery stoves.

Your guide will also take you to see the Communal house where people go to pay respects to the village founder and you will have time to observe more of the rural life style.

Lunch will be at a clean local riverside restaurant before you start your journey back into Nha Trang. Along the way you will stop for a visit at a local nursery school and village market.

Day 12 – Nha Trang (B)- Overnight in Nha Trang

Enjoy a relaxing day exploring the town area or put your feet up at the hotel pool or on the beach.

Day 13 – Nha Trang – HCMC (B)- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Enjoy the morning at the beach or take a walk in town before returning to your hotel.

1430h – Our driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the airport where you can prepare to board your 1640h flight to HCMC

1735h – Arrive to HCMC where our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in district one.

Day 14 – HCMC – Free day (B)- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Enjoy a day relaxing in the city where you can go shopping for some gifts to take home with you or simply soak in the atmosphere of the city.
