MEKONG LUXURY 3 DAYS – 2 NIGHTS

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Ben Tre – Cai Be (B/L/D)

0800h: Pick up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer by road to the Ben Tre .Once you are outside of the city, you will see many interesting sights in the rural villages on your drive to the delta region.

You will enjoying the view and the country view of Ben Tre

After lunches you will travel to Cai Be

1400h: Arrive at the Cai Be River Wharf and board a charming shuttle boat that will take you to your Oasis in the Mekong Delta

You will discover the nearby village where you will visit families making coconut candy which is a specialty of the region. You will also have the opportunity to meet and talk with local people, known for their friendliness, warmth and generosity, so you can experience their way of life.

Overnight in Bungalow in Cai Be

Day 2: Cai Be – Cai Rang – Vinh Long – Can Tho (B/L/D)

Start the day with a delicious buffet breakfast, before boarding your rowed sampan for a visit to Cai Be floating market which is an exciting feature of life on in Mekong Delta. Visit the market early and you will see the most vibrant scene on Tien River with hundreds of boats gathering to trade their fresh produce and other goods.

On your return from the floating market, (depending on time) you will continue on your discovery of the Mekong Delta by either cycling down tranquil winding lanes or cruising peacefully along the network canals. You will enjoy the fresh air, beautiful views and have the opportunity to taste some freshly picked fruit in local orchards.

12.00: Unfortunately it will be time to check out and once again board the shuttle boat back to Cai Be Harbor and transfer you Can Tho

Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang Flooding Market – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)

0530h: Driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to the wharf where you will board a motor boat for a leisurely trip through the tributaries of the lower Mekong to visit Cai Rang floating market.

Cai Rang is one of the 3 biggest floating markets in the delta region and you will see hundreds of boats, packed with local mangoes, bananas, papaya and pineapple as well as many other items for sale.

Then take a ride in the motor boat along small leafy creeks to a village where you can walk around and meet with the friendly locals. For the brave visitors, you can learn how to cross a Monkey bridge which is built by using bamboo and ropes.

1100h: Visit an orchard garden where you will stop for lunch.

After lunches we will be time to check out of the hotel and start the trip back to Ho Chi Minh
