DAY 1: HANOI – ARRIVAL- Overnight in Ha Noi

Arrival in Hanoi. We welcome you at the airport and transfer you to hotel. Rest of the day is your leisure time.

Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)- Overnight on Cruise

Between 0800h-0830h – Your transport will pick you up at your hotel and you will depart for Ha Long Bay. You will stop for a short break at the Humanity center situated approximately half way to Ha Long and have time to stretch your legs or purchase some of the local specialties.

1200h – Arrive to Ha Long Bay and transfer by tender to your luxury Junk where the captain will welcome you on board the boat.

A delicious lunch will be served for you as the boat passes through many of the thousands of islands and islets within Ha Long Bay.

1530h – Spend an hour Kayaking around the hidden areas near Luon Cave which can only be accessed by Kayak or small boat. The cave is 60m long and has a ceiling height of between 2.5m and 4m depending on tide level. After passing through the cave you will reach a lake which is approximately 1 Sq km and enclosed by the surrounding lime stone mountains.

1630h – Return to your luxury junk and cruise Soi Sim Island where you can climb to the top of one of the hills to gain a panoramic view of Ha Long bay. After your climb you can enjoy swimming in the calm waters or relax on the beach.

1930h – Enjoy a dinner of local or western food and spend a romantic night on board the Junk.

Note: Please let your guide know if you would like to attend a Tai Chi session in the morning.

DAY 3 : HA LONG BAY – LAN HA BAY (B/L/D)- Overnight on Cruise

0630h – Start your day by enjoying the peaceful morning atmosphere of the bay from the sun deck or take the opportunity to capture the natural beauty on some photos.

0700h – 0830h – Enjoy a delicious breakfast on board.

0830h – Transfer to a Day Boat for a cruise to Lan Ha Bay and explore the Light and Dark Cave by kayak. Swimming and relaxing at the beaches.

Lan Ha Bay is part of the Cat Ba national park and contains 139 small picturesque islands surrounded by calm waters of the bay. The area is famous for its sandy beaches such Cat Dua and Bai Cat.

1200h – Explore the light and dark cave by Kayak. The light cave is quite short and always accessible but the longer dark can sometime tide levels are high.

1300h – Return to the day boat and enjoy a barbecue lunch which will be served on board.

After lunch you can continue Kayaking to explore more of Lan Ha Bay or just relax on the beach.

1400h – Visit a floating Pearl Farm and learn the technique for making high quality pearls and if the weather permits, you will continue along to Three Peach Beach for swimming.

1600h – Cruise back to the main boat.

1900h – A delicious diner will be served in the dining room.

Overnight on board

DAY 4 – HA LONG BAY – HA NOI (B/L)- Overnight in Ha Noi

0630h – Your new day will starts with joining the Tai chi class or simply enjoying the scenery.

0730h – 0830h – Enjoy a beautiful breakfast on board the boat.

0830h – You will visit the truly amazing Sung Sot Cave which is also known as Surprise Cave. The cave is reached by climbing approximately 100 stone steps and the journey up allows some excellent views of the bay below.

0930h – Return to your cruise boat and time to freshen up before checking out of your cabin.

1000h – Visit Ba Hang Fishing Village to experience the lifestyle of local people. After returning to the boat, it will be time to join the cooking demonstration in dining room and enjoy what you have cooked for lunch.

1200h – Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi.

1600h – Arrive in Hanoi and overnight in Ha Noi .

DAY 5- HA NOI CITY TOUR – WATER PUPPET SHOW – FLIGHT TO DA NANG – HOI AN (B/L)- Overnight in Hoi An

0800h – Guide will meet you at your hotel & you will depart to visit:

Ho Chi Minh Complex: Completed in 1975 the complex contains Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt house residence, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh museum.

Next stop is a visit to the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius,

1200h – A delicious set menu lunch will be provided for you in a local restaurant.

1300h – Your tour recommences with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology which is widely acknowledged as the best in Vietnam and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples.

Then it is on to the Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake: The Ngoc Son temple is set on a tiny island on the Hoan Kiem Lake and was erected in 18th century.

1600h – Back to your hotel where you will have free time to have dinner and a short rest.

Free time until the driver will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the airport in Ha Noi to board a flight to Da Nang

On arrival to Da Nang airport a driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Hoi An.

Overnight in Hoi An

DAY 6 – HOI AN FREE DAY (B)- Overnight in Hoi An

DAY 7- HOI AN BICYCLE – FISHING TOUR (B/L)- Overnight in Hoi An

0800h – Your guide will meet you at your hotel ready for you to start your tour. Together you will start riding to the countryside, taking pictures and enjoying the beautiful scenery before arriving to Tra Que Herb garden and vegetable village.

You will take a walk around the village garden and meet some of the local farmers while your guide points out many of the unique features and explains the importance of the garden to Hoi An and the local people.

You will also have the opportunity to join in farming activities such as; hoeing soil, using seaweed, transplanting and watering vegetables using traditional watering cans.

Time to continue biking to the rice paddy fields and shrimp farms, while on the way being able to stop and take photos of duck farms, shrimp farms, water buffalos, birds, and many more interesting sights.

Next you will drive to Cam Thanh Village where you will arrive to a local house in Cam Thanh Ecological village, riding a water buffalo.

After lunch it will be to go to the Water Coconuts and have some fun while being shown how to use the traditional round basket boats. The crew will row you through part of the water coconut forest where you can try to catch a crab before heading back to the Eco Village.

Next it is time for some fun. You will join with some locals and be shown how to row one of the traditional basket boats and how to throw a cast net. Then it is time to try rowing the boat and throwing the net for yourself.

1530h – Back to your hotel

Overnight in Hoi An

DAY 8 – HOI AN – DA NANG – HO CHI MINH – BACK OF BIKE FOOD TOUR (B)- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Enjoy a day relaxing untill the  driver will arrive to your hotel and transfer you to the airport in Da Nang ready for you to board your flight to HCMC.

Arrive to HCMC where our driver will be waiting to meet you and take you into your hotel in the exciting district one area of the city

Relax until your guide arrives to pick you up at your hotel for the Sai Gon food tour – Back of Bike

As our riders take you out of the citycentre, you will sample some of the most amazing food Vietnam has to offer.

1730h – Your guide and excellent riders will meet you at your hotel and together you will set off on a night of fun and excitement as you explore the lesser known streets of Saigon.

You will experience exciting new tastes and experiences as you wind your way around the streets and venture down the alleyways of the outer city.

Along the way you will stop to sample a wide range of authentic Vietnamese food in restaurants and cafes where the local’s eat and also sample some of the wonderful street food which is available.

2030h – Your tours ends and you will be taken to your hotel.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

DAY 9 – HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNEL (B/L)- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh      

0800h- The guide will pick you up at the hotel and visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Located 60km from Ho Chi Minh city, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 10: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA (B/L)- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Around 0800h, Leave Ho Chi Minh for My Tho and Ben Tre, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank.

Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh, a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals. Have a short cycling tour (applied for private tour/if  time permitted) then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through fruit plantations and villages. Go back to Ho Chi Min.

DAY 11- HO CHI MINH – DEPARTURE  (B)

Free Time untill the driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport .
